Welcome to Congregation Bonai Shalom

We are a vibrant and talented community of individuals that are dedicated to supporting one another and the community as a whole. Congregation Bonai Shalom is a diverse, multi-generational congregation. We have, as our foundation, a warm, accepting, and participating membership. We are an inclusive congregation. We welcome and strive to accommodate people of all abilities, and encourage all members of our community to participate.

A message from Rabbi Marc:

We are devastated and heartbroken in the wake of brutal terrorist attacks by Hamas in southern Israel and the ongoing atrocities and attacks from two borders. With over 1000 Israelis dead, the scale of this is unimaginable and unbearable and the largest slaughter of Jews since the Holocaust. So many in our community have family members in Israel, many of whom have been called up for service. We all know someone who knows someone who has been killed, injured or kidnapped and our hearts are so heavy as we grieve together and offer support.
The whole Jewish world is sitting shiva right now. Praying for peace on the souls of the murdered, comfort and strength to the bereaved and healing to the injured and traumatized and to all of us. May we see an end to this horrific violence and the hope of peace restored.

Many of us feel the need to help and here are some links to various organizations helping on the ground. Here are some prayers and other resources:
