The Boulder JCC is excited to invite the community to celebrate
Yom Ha'atzmaut, Israel Independence Day, with an outdoor concert, picnic, and activities for all ages.

Eyal Rivlin and his band will be on hand to entertain
the crowd with beloved and familiar Israeli songs. Feel free to bring your
own picnic dinner or enjoy food that will be available for purchase from
Boychik Kitchen and The Village Nosh.
This is a free event sponsored by the Boulder JCC, JewishColorado,
and IAC-Israeli American Council. Participants are encouraged to register in advance.

Bio - Though born in the blistering heat of Israel's Jordan Valley, Eyal Rivlin's heart seems to spring from Renaissance Europe. His passion for celebrating music, dance, psychology, and spiritual growth led him from the Tel Aviv music scene on a pilgrimage of discovery through Europe and India to the United States. Now, happily centered in Boulder, Colorado, Eyal inspires joy through teaching, performing, and facilitating events, playing with world fusion ensembles, and leading evenings of ecstatic song and dance. With over 25 years of teaching experience, Eyal builds bridges between cultures through his open-hearted teaching style. While teaching in the Program in Jewish Studies at CU Boulder extensively for the last 10 years, Eyal’s students have described his teaching style as “inspiring, refreshing, accessible, creative and engaging.” He runs the annual Schmooze-a-Palooza Hebrew music festival at Old Main theater and delights in bringing to life the greatest hits of Israeli music.
