Join us for our next First Friday on Thursday program. “Rabbi-ing” in Germany and Switzerland: Rabbi Diane Tiferet shares stories about Jewish life in Europe

Rabbi Diane Tiferet Lakein has lived much of her life in Europe. She spent part of her formative years as a member of the Jewish community in Stockholm, Sweden (where she celebrated her bat-mitzvah), and most recently lived in Germany for 25 years, where she was involved in non-Orthodox Jewish communities in Berlin, Leipzig, Cologne and Freiburg – as well as in Basel, Switzerland. Come learn about the joys and challenges of contemporary Jewish life from the perspective of an anthropology-trained, long-term expatriate and spiritual leader and seeker.
