The Boulder Chai Life group is sponsoring a casual morning of the card game Yaniv!

Tuesday, December 2, 2025 - 10 AM to Noon

In person at the Boulder Jewish Community Center; 6007 Oreg Ave, Boulder, CO 80303

From 10 AM to 10:30 we’ll gather in the BJCC lobby, mingle and catch up with friends, old and new, and maybe buy something at ‘Café at the J’. Starting at 10:30 we’ll be upstairs in the library, finding tables, and learning the game. From 10:45 to Noon we’ll play YANIV!

All are welcome at the event.

Yaniv (Hebrew: יניב) is a fun card game that is popular in Israel. It is a draw and discard game in which players discard before drawing a new card and attempt to have the lowest value of cards in hand. Some of us learned about Yaniv from the movie of the same name shown at the recent Boulder Jewish Film Festival.
