Your Placemaking ideas can help ensure that our new building is more than a collection of spaces in which to gather, socialize, and worship. Your ideas can make it a place that is warm, welcoming and full of beauty; a place that emanates joy, uplifts Jewish wisdom and values, and strengthens community and Jewish identity.
The deadline to share your ideas is Monday, February 19th. After that, the Miro Placemaking vision board will be closed and the posterboards at Bonai will come down in preparation for the Placemaking Charrette on Sunday, February 25th (details below).

Community Event to Review and Prioritize Placemaking Ideas
At the Charrette, we will work together as a group to identify the Placemaking ideas that resonate most with the community. This will help guide the Architects, the Placemaking Sub-Committee and the Architecture & Design Committee in their design decision-making process.
Date: Sunday, February 25, 2024 Location: Bonai Shalom
Children who are capable of meaningfully participating, and whose participation is facilitated by a parent, are encouraged to take part.
For younger children, we are working on arranging babysitting and will confirm in follow-up communications.
Please RSVP to help us order the right quantity of food and to make sure that we have adequate babysitting coverage. Also, attendees who RSVP will receive some advance materials.
