Social connection is critical to our well-being, yet many individuals with disabilities experience isolation and are often separated from community. Please join Bonai Shalom’s Inclusion Committee for a special Jewish Disability Awareness, Acceptance, and Inclusion (JDAIM) panel discussion where we will gain greater understanding of the challenges individuals with disabilities face in connecting with others, as well as the value and benefits of social support for those who receive it.
Our panel will include a staff member from the Center for People with Disabilities, a local nonprofit working to ensure those with disabilities live fulfilling lives, as well as Bonai community members Rhonda Horwitz-Romano and Max Weiner who will discuss obstacles to connection and the importance of the social support the Bonai community has provided. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A.
Bonai Shalom is a proud Leadership Partner of JFS Jewish Disabilities Advocates.
