The Siddur is not just our prayer book and daily spiritual medium, it is also a treasure trove of Hebrew language learning chalk full of most major two-letter Hebrew word roots. Join Dr. Robert Winer as he takes you on a profound journey into the prayers, the words, the roots, the pocket dictionary and the connection between your mind, the words that speak to you, and the deeper Hebrew meaning. If you have a desire to deepen your understanding of the prayers you love and the Holy Tongue that underpins them, come join us for a fun, relaxing and energizing time! The classes will bring a felt-sense of being an enjoyable experience filled with warmth, collegiality, and friendship.

This class runs for 6 Tuesdays in the Spring starting April 2nd, skipping Passover.

No prep or homework prior to class are needed but purchase of Shiloh Pocket Dictionary required ($10) because you will write in it, plus a pencil or colored pens / pencils for in-class activities, and a journal to take notes during class (Torah Lishmah Journal (יומן)).
