Our Jewish calendar is a spiritual road-map for Judaism’s two core spiritual practices tikkun olam (repairing the world) and tikkun hanefesh (repairing our souls). Each month is rich in kavanot (intention, direction, and mindfulness) for our personal and collective spiritual work. After looking at the parashot (Torah portions), holidays, historical events, and mystical teachings connected to each month, participants will have the opportunity for personal reflection. We also will delve into poetry and prayers connected to the month’s kavanot.
Taught by Ed Kass and Valerie Singer.
