In July, our community embarked on the journey to create a conceptual design for a new spiritual home for Bonai Shalom on the Boulder Jewish Commons.  On December 13, starting at 7 PM MT we will meet to share the Concept Plan that evolved from the community input provided and the collaborative work of the Bonai Shalom New Building Committee with our architectural team at Finegold Alexander Associates (FAA).  In an abundance of caution, the meeting will be Zoom only. We anticipate this meeting will last for 1.5 - 2 hours.   

 FAA will present the Concept Design Plan, and there will be an opportunity to ask questions through the chat and Zoom.  Additional information will include an initial project cost estimate and the project’s next steps, including opportunities to be involved. Seeing the Concept Design Plan and project renderings will allow us to not only imagine the look, feel, and functionality of a new building but the transformative opportunities it will present for us to make meaningful community connections. 

With continued community support and generous donation commitments, we will move forward with the next steps of project design.   Our goal is to strengthen Bonai Shalom by creating a sustainable, sacred community gathering place for us and generations to come.
 
We have not yet started a formal Capital Campaign to support a new building.  However, if you seek opportunities to make year-end charitable gifts and feel moved to support more than the ongoing operations of our Bonai community, please get in touch with Bruce Wildman to discuss making a capital donation towards the New Building project.
