Join us for Kabbalat Shabbat Services, a delicious Israeli-style Friday night dinner followed by a thought-provoking conversation between two unique voices with mirrored journeys: Rotem Bar-Or, an Israeli scientist who recently relocated his family to Boulder, and, Danny Sherwinter, an American patent attorney who spent the last five years navigating life as a new immigrant in Israel. Together, they'll explore the complex intersections of Jewish and Israeli identity, the contrasts between socialist and capitalist societies, and how educational systems - and the values they reflect - differ between the two countries.
