Singing Circle for Hope and Resilience
Tuesday, June 17th at Nevei Kodesh, 7-9 pm
 
This one-time singing circle will draw from the rich tradition of Jewish sacred songs to bring together our community and foster healing after the recent tragedy. It will be led by theomusicologist Sharon Alexander, who teaches music around the world and was ordained by Rabbi Zalman Schachter-Shalomi as a Leader of Sacred and Ecstatic Chorales; Janice Rubin, a gifted singer and musician who recently moved to Boulder; and Nevei Kodesh's own beloved musical leader, Sheldon Sands.

No previous musical background is necessary for participation. There is a suggested donation of $18 for the event, $10 for students and seniors. Proceeds will be donated to the JEWISHcolorado Boulder Security Fund.
