Engaging the Spiritual Energy of our Hebrew Months with Poetry and Reflection

    Tuesday, Jul 8th 7:00p to 8:30p
Our Jewish calendar is a spiritual road-map for Judaism’s two core spiritual practices tikkun olam (repairing the world) and tikkun hanefesh (repairing our souls). Each month is rich in kavanot (intention, direction, and mindfulness) for our personal and collective spiritual work. After looking at the parashot (Torah portions), holidays, historical events, and mystical teachings connected to each month, participants will have the opportunity for personal reflection. We also will delve into poetry and prayers connected to the month’s kavanot. Taught by Ed Kass and Valerie Singer. Join Zoom meeting here: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/83608689636

    Run for Their Lives

    Sunday, Jul 13th 11:00a to 12:00p
This is the Run for Their Lives community! Groups around the world that never quit, that never stop walking, that never stop saying the names of the hostages and expressing their solidarity. The amount of support Run For Their Lives - Boulder has received is beyond incredible -- from around the world, from hostages' family members, from returned hostages, from the founder of the global Run For Their Lives organization. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Sunday, June 1st was a devastating day. We continue to send blessings of healing to everyone wounded physically and psychologically, most especially the victims of the horrendous attack. We are immensely grateful for the members of our group who immediately took care of people who were hurt and likely helped save their lives until first responders arrived. They are heroes. It has rocked all of us immensely, but it has also united us in our mission. We will keep praying with our feet. We will keep saying their names. We will stand up to antisemitism. We are Jews and Jewish allies. We come from different religions and different political affiliations. Some of us have relatives in Israel and in the IDF, some of us have never been to Israel. This is a humanitarian mission, and we will not let a domestic terrorist stop us from doing what we do best. #RunForTheirLives #LetThemGoNow #BringThemHomeNow
