          Crop Hunger Walk
          Sunday, Oct 25th 2:00p to 4:00p
Once again Bonai Shalom is participating in the CROP Hunger walk which is part of an interfaith nationwide effort to raise funds to help alleviate hunger and poverty here and abroad. This walk helps fund Boulder County's Community Food Share, as well as Bread for the World, an advocacy group, and, if you wish, MAZON, the Jewish Response to Hunger Due to COVID-19, we will hold our own socially-distanced 5k walk on October 25th at 2 p.m. We will leave from the parking lot of the Justice Center—the southeast corner of 6th and Canyon. We will have signs and a banner. Wear face masks. Even if you cannot join us for the walk, please consider making a donation. The link to sign up and/or donate is below. On the donation page there is a box entitled Alternate Agency. If you type in MAZON, a portion of your donation will go to MAZON instead of World Church Service.

          Weekly Mussar
          Monday, Oct 26th 12:00p to 1:30p
The group meets regularly to support one another in the spiritual exploration of virtues (midot) through experiential sharing,  study of traditional Jewish text and other relevant philosophies and spiritual sources, and meditation. One class member described how “Delving into Mussar expands my own awareness of my behavior and how integrating the values and ethics presented in Mussar has uplifted my life.”  If you are a spiritual seeker passionate about leading an ethical life, the Mussar process may be the opportunity you have been waiting for. Interested in a Mussar class? Email mussar@bonaishalom.org for more information.
