Avodat Lev: Bonai’s alternative Shabbat morning chanting service led by Rabbi Eva Sax-Bolder. 

We go “deep” instead of “wide” allowing the liturgy to uplift us through chant, niggunim (wordless melodies), meditation and community connections. Each prayer is preceded by a kavannah, an intention, and a passage is repeated to serve as a catalyst to draw us into the meaning of the words.  It is our hope that this group will develop into a sacred community, supporting our individual and communal experience of worship.

We meet once each month at 10:00am and conclude in time to join Rabbi Marc and the community for the end of Torah service, musaf and kiddush. We ask that you arrive early to settle in so we can begin on time.
